Round 3: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

We've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

You are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods/players test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here.

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

The age gap is proving to be the most difficult thing about AUing, for me. Hummmm. Will Reid have any sort of online presence or no?

Reid's gonna be crazy social unlike his canon self (no sick mom to keep him from making friends), so I imagine he'd have an online presence too just to keep up with all of his acquaintances. An avid texting and chatroom presence. He's the type who would persistently try to bug Nishi out of his shell.

They could potentially be neighbors in the same apartment building or Reid could work security for his dad's business, stuff like that.

That's gonna be so weird to see. xD Just Kamui bro-ing it out like no one's business.

I'm totally down for the neighbor thing and harassment of mister anti-social. Kamui could probably expect a lot of annoyed text messages about being less stupid and obnoxious...things like that.

Right? I'm loving it. His transition back to Kamui is going to be terrible.

But stupid and obnoxious are Reid's defining traits. Sorry, Nishi, you're just going to have to deal.

Will he even be able to keep this facade into his awakening or will he just do the Kamui thing and not really care whether he's known to be awakened or not?

Oh he will deal, but not without retaliation. I could probably complicate the relationship up where Nishi actually kind of respects Kamui (because he's strong!), so it can be a little tsun-y.

The idea of his father running a bar actually probably isn't a bad idea (so Nishi can have more time home alone - lol.) So if Kamui wants to work there, he can.

He will do the Kamui thing because Kamui. Will probably stop coming home even. But at least he won't kill his parents. Maybe.

D'aaw, that's cute. Kamui can teach him to pick locks? And just all around act big brother-y in that borderline criminal way he loves so much.

Also, working at the bar could definitely happen! I don't have anywhere else for him to work at yet.

Woooow! Yes! Bad influences are the best influences. Nishi doesn't even adhere to the goody-two-shoes lifestyle canonly anyway, so it's best if his AU self didn't either.

Aha, great! If Kamui ends up having nothing else, he can do that, then!

Pffff, Nishi's dad might hate him then, but lock picking is go! Also, swear words. All the swear words.

To be honest, Nishi's dad probably hates Nishi, too. (All the more reason to give the kid a job. Stay busy, delinquent.)
And omg! Swearing is so canon, too! Let's do it!
