Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

I'm sorry Ryoji stole all your post-October screentime, Pharos.

But we can definitely work something out! I'm certainly not adverse to giving Shinjiro a little brother to look after if you wanted to go with the family route. Him going from no family to suddenly having actual "family" is certainly a fun idea to consider, only to later learn he was Minako's not-so-imaginary headspace friend could be fun. And Shinjiro's pretty close to "Death" as it is, anyway. Could be fitting, if you wanted to go with that.

I've also toyed with the idea of Shinjiro's parents (either one or both) being vets, which might work well with Pharos given his nature, if he wanted to be that really strange kid who just to happens to be eerily good at guessing at which animals likely weren't going to last the night and generally being totally unconcerned(?) about the process while Shinjiro's more of the bleeding heart in that area.

Ooh, that sounds fun! I'd definitely be up for it if you are. And yeah, Pharos would definitely be the kind of kid who just says things like 'I've seen a lot of things die' with absolutely no explanation and can tell which of the animals are in the worst shape. Their parents have to keep him away from the pet owners.
