Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

OMG, of course he'd just bounce between sports clubs, I'm laughing he has too much energy. I really hope somebody asks him to try to help coach at some point and then it's just disaster from there forward. Nerd chillin' yesssss. ♥

HE DOES. Just an overflowing bundle of positive energy who will try to be buddies with everyone ever. ALSO OMG CONSIDERING HE'S THE WORST AT EXPLAINING THINGS BESIDES LIKE USING WEIRD SOUNDS that would be hilarious but also yes disaster. sdfj So obviously that needs to happen eventually maybe.

Yamamoto: Master of S. Links. Reimagining Reborn as a Persona game would be really entertaining, I mean don't they already summon creatures anyways, it's been so long since I read the silly thing, I'm totally behind but.

AND YES, JUST. Stuff like Yamamoto trying to coach a sports team, Yamamoto trying to explain the Persona fight to newbies just. Brings me joy. I imagine he's a Combatant but imagine with me for a moment the disaster that would be Yamamoto as a Navigator. His team would probably cry.

He's going to max them all in like zero time. AND THEY DO, YEAH. Since technically Yamamoto can summon like, two. A rain swallow and a shiba inu doggie - so it kind of makes it easier to sort of, figure out Personas from there. '^' Though later they become just weapons, 'cause KHR likes making their character slowly get more powerful over time. So obviously a persona is just the next step, really.

He's going to be the worst and I love it. AND HE is a combatant but omfg that didn't even cross my mind with how terrible that could have ended up being. No one would want to have him as a Navigator, lmfao. sdfljs So it's probably for the best, really.

We believe in you, Yamamoto-protag!! And man, his box animals are cute as hell, I just remember Tsuna having a baby lion or something but that's great. The Persona inventory in this game is interesting as well, I'm still sort of feeling my way around to figuring out which one to pick! And wrt power bleed, sounds like regular shounen manga syndrome, what can you do! (Has the manga even ended yet, I really am out of the loop.)

Combatant hi5, I bet we're just going to have a lot of punch things first worry about everything else later people on the front lines, so really we might as well have the best Navigators in the back. |D It's still pretty fun to think about if the roles were switched... This guy was in a Navigator-equivalent role in canon for like a total of 20 seconds, he can't stay on the sidelines to save his life.

Yeah. I really adore all the box animals! It's such a cool power, ngl - and yeah, baby lion was Tsuna's. While Gokudera had a cat. :D Hibari had a porcupine and etc. BUT the manga has ended! There's about 400 chapters or so, but it's been complete for awhile now.

o/ WELL yeah I imagine there's going to be a lot of confusion and trying to figure things out -- but I mean I do that in persona games anyway where I basically use every single spell until I figure out what a shadow's weakness is. So I might be laughing at the idea of people spamming spells trying to figure out what works while Navigators are just like "hey this one, dummy." THOUGH I WISH I knew anything about God Eater, but from the little I read he seems like a very I-want-to-fight things kind of guy. :>

The animals are so appropriate, laughs, Hibari with a porcupine is pretty great even though he has the cute damn bird already. |3 Maybe one of these days I'll finish reading the rest, then, I think I stopped a little ways into Future Arc but like a person with a true shounen genre problem 400 chapters is nothing. /dies a little

HAHAHA I've done that in Persona games too, I would love to see spell spam IC it would be so funny. They've already wasted the Shadow with random test spells before the Navigator can get a word out and they're just like SIGHS. Then they hit the boss and RIP.

Lenka here is actually the anime-exclusive version of the protag, who's a silent protag in the original game/manga/other spinoffs. Anime is, interestingly enough, its own strange beast of an AU. I find it a very fun what-if, which is probably how I got here. /stares at hands He's definitely a go-getter, but character develops into a proper tactician over the course of the series. I could probably swing him as a Navigator in terms of personality and ability, but he'd keep running onto the field all the time which we probably don't want. :'D

AT LEAST it's not as lengthy as like Bleach or Naruto or One Piece. 'Cause canon review would be a LOT harder for me if it was. lsjf And yes, Hibari with cute animals is always a great thing. '^' - BUT KEEEN. That is a good character to have previous played from what I recall about him. :> Sadly Yamamoto's been my only KHR muse.

YES JUST EVERYONE PANIC 'BUFU AGI GARU ZIO - JESUS TRY HITTING IT WHY WON'T IT DIE' at their first enemy. sdflj So I'm looking forward to how things go with everyone learning about their powers and stuff. I've never been in a newly open game before either, so that's gonna be fun too.

AH, and I meant more your post about him but oh! That does sound pretty interesting, I've been wanting to check out the anime at some point but I have like a million other things that I've been needing to finish/check out so chances of me actually watching it are slim. x x;

But lmao, sounds like he'd be the best/worst navigator omg.
