Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

Heeeeeeey, I'm Re and I am so TDMing and going to be apping this doofus here. This is Koujirou Genda from Inazuma Eleven

Pre-Awakening: Due to not dealing with his canon's big bad and the military school he went to, he's a lot more open and easy going. He's going to be a very bluntly honest individual who also has no hesitation in helping anyone in need of help because he's a Team Mom and has likely fed people or given them tea if they look like they needed it. He's going to be in Year 3 of the Lower Cycle at Green Valley and I'm debating him being a helper in the library or some other sort of role where he would get solicited for help with homework or where to find the best reference material for a project.

He's also going to live in an apartment complex about a thirty min commute away from the school. An apartment that is normally empty save him because of very work committed parents.

Awakening: He's going to get all the fun memories of being a side character in a sports anime that at times you wonder if this actually is an anime about soccer. This means he'll be a lot more quiet, rigid, and by the book because Teikoku was not only a military academy but also the main base for the Big Bad. So he's now got a lot of trauma and mental abuse to not only work through but not let it take over his AU life to avoid suspicion.


I want all the AU cr, so let's talk shop about who knows this nerd or who has likely been mom'd by him at some point.

CAGLIOSTRO NEEDS NERD CR she's done like 239057893490 chemistry projects, probably she's made Koujirou literally run laps around the library grabbing books for her, the poor man.

Also she has health problems/a weak body so he can totally scold her or mom her for overworking herself to coughing up a lung or something. Despite the fact that Cagliostro is half a decade older than him at 21 or something.

I need this CR in my life, he will see her and just already be marking a clear path to the sections she pulls from the most.

How many weeks before he learns her favorite tea so he can just leave a thermos of it at her usual table when he wonders by because please Miss, take care of yourself.

Probably just a few months into his time as a library helper, so this Spiel has probably been continuing for a while--

Her favorite tea is the really expensive matcha teas. Sorry. After a while she'll probably start buying and bringing her own powdered matcha from home so he can make it for her.

He didn't realize you could get regulars at a library and not just at coffee shops and restaurants.


He'd not even really notice. He isn't exactly spending that allowance on anything else really, and he'd rather use it on someone else then just letting it sit there.

What else is he supposed to use it on? He doesn't play video games and he gets to read all the books he wants here at the library. He has no concept of material wealth, it's horrible. He buys the bare minimum of what he needs and what doesn't go in a savings account goes to the help everyone else fund.

Why does no one seem to know how to take care of themselves anymore? (Shh ignore the fact he also has zero chill when it comes to actually relaxing himself. He's gotten good at hiding that.)

At least pace yourself a bit before you get exam burnout please.

...Yeah, she's terrible at taking care of herself. The tea makes for a good distraction, though. :p
