Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

Well, first of all Guts, despite trying to be all aloof and emotionless, with Dad any kid who comes near him. Especially kids with a lack of purpose. I'd imagine as like the co-captain of the track team he might know Yuuto (even if he's not a soccor prodigy perhaps he's still into sports??). Try out for track kid, run from your issues.

Also....Gut suffered very similar shades of childhood abuse (but with more killing and less sports) and while I might have some of that carry over, it'd def's be an Post Awakening thing to bond over, hypothetically. He gets that self isolating feel, little buddy.

I am completely and totally for this!

I think he'd always be into sports, so that's really easy to arrange. He's an athletic kid who likes to push himself, and I could totally see him in track. Yuuto here is a midfielder on professional level, and those guys can run 9 miles in a game... it would be very good for him if he wants to go back to soccer after awakening.

Post Awakening, there's not a lot of people Kidou could feel like he had enough in common with who he could reach out to. Having someone who could really understand where he's coming from would mean the world to him. He'd latch onto that.

Awesome!! I could defs see some preawakening interactions around races or tryouts then. Or even just running across eachother and striking up a conversation because hey man, Sports.

Post awakening: Guts awkwardly hands Yuuto a beer after an emotional talk and then slowly takes it back after he realizes its illegal.

I'm crying. Yuuto staaaaares at it, not saying a word, gladly relinquishes it or just doesn't touch it. He's too lawful to even consider trying it.

Guts awkwardly drinks his beer avoiding eye contact. This is good parenting, yes. He's so good at this. He'll give you some money for ice cream or something jesus don't look at him like that.

Whatever you say chief. (Did kids stop liking ice cream??? When did that happen?? What is going on with the youth?? Guts wouldn't pass up some free ice cream he's just saying.)

It's time for more awkward quiet, yes? Yes. Absolutely.

(Because if he eats too much ice cream he won't be in perfect condition, and that would be terrible! He can't afford to risk letting people down! His worry about this doubled after awakening, help)

(Hey who said he was gonna get you "to much" icecream. He's not the handouts guy, its a single scoop for you kiddo. Just eat some ice cream and calm down.

How do normal people do small talk? He knew this until he got in touch with his other self...

No this is babysitting. He's hoping you'll pay him.
