Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

Yeah, Cores and Cells made by alchemy and using the essence of greed, an elemental force and an animal. Ankh is birds + fire and his color is red. He is also such a grump srs just so much a grump, but not so much in the AU.

Also you want a floaty monster bird arm? Here's a mock up of it with the hand holding Ankh's Taka Core Medal. And here's Ankh eating his favorite treat the wrong way note the eye on his hand.

Haha, his canon's enemy monsters are basically clusters of mutant cells held together by cores, so that's going to be some crazy crossover shenanigans if it comes up. On the bright side, Lenka is used to grumps, so I'm sure we can wrangle CR somehow!

... I'm cracking up is he trying to feed his hand the popsicle.

XD Well at least in his canon the medals are a weird kind of metal? Not that it matter much since the cells can be used to create a kind of underling called a Yummy that acts on the greed of its host in order to get powerful and create more cells. And toku is one of those things that have a lot of weirdness to them, but with Ankh he just dunt care except when he does.

Actually the hand absorbs the popsicles though Ankh prefers to eat them normally because he likes the taste. burds also like the treats so it's kinda funny at how much burd there is to this guy.

AS FOR CR there is a number of things from friend of his twin (who may or may not be a nice guy), his sister, in one of the music clubs or a fan, or a rival or a tutor that Ankh sits with to appear like he's studying.

FFFFffff the birds are creating more birds. Good lord these birds need to chill out, and not by absorbing popsicles. :pp Who doesn''t love popsicles though. Also your icons are strangely hilarious, his hair is very dramatic. |DDD

I don't think he'd mind hanging out wrt music/band, although if Ankh tries to get him to be a fake tutor he'll find he's Very Dedicated To Real Tutoring so really, it may be more trouble than it's worth. ;)

Yup, his Yummies do tend to gain bird tendencies it's kinda hilarious XD. Yes it is very dramatic; the actor has his hair styled and colored for the role and whenever he had to be 'Shingo', he wore a dull black wig. A very bad one too. The hair is just so dramatic and imagine that he had it like that for six years or more.

also paid time ran out so i got some really random faces for his icons it's hilarious

Force Ankh to study just force him. It would result in a lot of 'TCH', glares and him perching on the desk all bird like.

Yummy birdskjflkdsjkfl. I assume they aren't edible-- and also, is Shingo a separate character, either way I feel sorry for this guy's poor hair. Sacrificed for the sake of hilarious #aesthetic.....

Eh, nothing that says you can't study while perching on a desk. :')

They start out looking something like this and then once they mature enough, they take on a more monstrous look like this. Each Greeed creates a certain kind of look for their Yummies, and they also reflect the desires that spawned them from their human hosts. There are six Greeeds and when they start taking each other's Cores the Yummies really started getting twisted.

Shingo is the name of the cop that Ankh borrows for most of the show. He's you typical normal police guy who happened to be in the wrong place and wrong time and got into an accident that would have killed him but Ankh needed a body in a hurry so he grabbed Shingo since he was near death. Being his host, Shingo actually gets better and such too, so it was kinda a mutual thing near the end.

His children are mummies..... baby mummies... that turn into dinosaurs. I SEE. Seems totally normal and stuff, I hope his persona ends up looking like a Yummy. That would be pretty rad.

Also I did not know he was basically pasted on another person, so he's basically the arm possessing the guy? Poor ol' Shingo's hair, lol. IDK how the game handles possession exactly but it should be interesting.

The last guy to TCH at him fell to Shounen Tactics so beware.

Well technically his turns into bird-types and the one above is part Mezool and Gamel (water and land animal). I'm thinking it might do the two stages, one looking like a wrapped up mummy and then it breaks free in a clash of sound and lights and is just so ridiculously dramatic.

Yup, he possesses the guy for 3/4 of the show, but they are separate characters so Ankh is going to be app alone without Shingo.

He's actually also a tactician himself so that might be a lot of maneuvering going on there.
