Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

HEY FAM!

I'm fridge and I am planning on apping this guy, Katsuki Yuuri from Yuri on Ice into this game along with friends! I'm really excited to play here and would love to plan stuff out with people!

We currently have Yuuri, Victor, Yuri and Otabek and I would.... Dearly love my BFF Phichit but honestly anyone and everyone will be subject to my neverending love so please HMU!!!!!

AU memory-wise I am thinking of having Yuuri work at the school as a counselor, so if you want to plan anything out in regards to workplace or family dynamics I would be down for that. :')

I plan on having Chikusa here be a normal high school student suffering from depression (which will only get 10x worse when he starts getting memories back), so having him deal with a counselor would actually be really appropriate CR!

I noticed you also commented to Yuri below and we were thinking Yuri will also have sessions with Yuuri anyway, so they can all have a slightly dysfunctional three-way CR going that way too!

But yeah, I have a lot of HC on his canon mental state, so expect me to ramble o how this will start to leak into his "normal" life when it become relevant.

Yuuri will have plenty of problems of his own which will start to come into light once his memories are restored, so there might be a lot of potential tension with them in regards to yuuri trying to stay professional and dealing/helping with chikusa too! I'm excited. :)

Do you want to work out how long they might have known each other/things like that?

I've been settling on Chikusa being a dorm kid of the school, but only having recently made the move to mostly living on his own. Probably in that time, he went to check in with the counseling department because homesick issues, and then oh! Guess what you have depression/anxiety issues of the lowkey variety.

So probably, since he's 14/15, a few years ish?

Yep, that works pretty well since I am thinking Yuuri has had pretty smooth memory of his schooling transition and been working as a counsellor for a couple of years now.

HI FRIDGE. Fushimi might have been bullied a couple of years back, so maybe he's talked to Yuuri a few times? I wouldn't say he was cooperative though, since he treated it like a school requirement more than anything else.... He just stared at Yuuri until he disappeared probably.

YANAAAAA. I feel like Yuuri is saddled with all the grumpy delinquents who don't want to be in his office drinking tea with him, but that's so good!!!! Yuuri would have probably made a lot of effort to get him to talk about it ;w;

This is the burden he must bear??? He signed up for this.

Now that I think about it, Yuuri would probably also be one of the only people he's ever talked to about his FEELINGS, depending on how they would have gotten along? Fushimi's snarky and rude, especially when he feels that people think they know better than he does. His AU self is also more or less a shut-in... His computer is all he needs...!!! Basically, Yuuri has his hands full.

But Fushimi can be nice. Maybe when he graduated high school, he left Yuuri a gift without his name attached at his office. Unless Yuuri also works with the other year levels...

Well, I'll probably play AU yuuri as nice. Like really nice. Like he will feed you his fifteen-times removed cousin's mum's homemade cookies with tea at the office and chill until you're ready to talk about feelings nice. Like he can be pretty personable when he wants to be? Still awkward and apologises too much, but definitely not as much of anxiety issues as canon.

Yuuri does work with other levels! I feel like other counsellors if anything prefer passing into yuuri all the super uncommunicative ones.

I'd love it if they do have a chance to run into each other somehow around city!!!!

What... That's adorable and hilarious... And also perfect. Fushimi will mess with him. But he's weak to persistent kindness, so.

Maybe Yuuri can catch him lining up in the middle of the night for a new gaming console... Or buying ice cream bc those are the two things he will risk the elements for. Eh, could always wing it too. WE'LL FIND WAYS.

I HAVEN'T WORKED OUT 100% OF YUURIS AU HISTORY but I did want him to nerd out in something like his victor shrine at home....That Nerd.... So he could always be lining up overnight too. Or icecream. Yuuri is always down for icecream. Or his toy poodle can decide that he cannot live without Fushimi. SOMETHING!!!

Ohhhh man! Maybe? If he did want to talk about it and if Pharos knew that Yuuri was also awakened then he can??? Though canon Yuuri isn't going to be as good at giving advice out/mentoring as his memloss self.....

XDD That's fine, normal day Pharos probably has a chat with him periodically due to rather unsympathetic 'meh' attitudes about death in general. He will happily drink his tea and behave though??
