Round 1: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

In order to do a little bit of planning before the test drive appears, we've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

As the test drive begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

Now that I think about it, Yuuri would probably also be one of the only people he's ever talked to about his FEELINGS, depending on how they would have gotten along? Fushimi's snarky and rude, especially when he feels that people think they know better than he does. His AU self is also more or less a shut-in... His computer is all he needs...!!! Basically, Yuuri has his hands full.

But Fushimi can be nice. Maybe when he graduated high school, he left Yuuri a gift without his name attached at his office. Unless Yuuri also works with the other year levels...

Well, I'll probably play AU yuuri as nice. Like really nice. Like he will feed you his fifteen-times removed cousin's mum's homemade cookies with tea at the office and chill until you're ready to talk about feelings nice. Like he can be pretty personable when he wants to be? Still awkward and apologises too much, but definitely not as much of anxiety issues as canon.

Yuuri does work with other levels! I feel like other counsellors if anything prefer passing into yuuri all the super uncommunicative ones.

I'd love it if they do have a chance to run into each other somehow around city!!!!

Hello! Greed here to add to the soccer club with Jirou Sakuma from Inazuma Eleven. He's a 14-year-old from a military academy who is undyingly loyal and most definitely, could not possibly have a soft spot for penguins.

Pre-awakening: I don't have a whole lot down for pre-awakening as of yet! Sakuma won't have been playing soccer but rather swimming. His personality will stay fairly close to what it was, but he'll be kind of lonely -- swimming is a team sport, but not one where you work together with your team on a field. He gets along with most people, but if he's offended he can easily switch drives to 'you no longer exist'.

I'm definitely open to pre-established cr if you are.

Awakened: Sakuma is the 'lieutenant' type -- he doesn't prefer to lead, but instead shines in a secondary role. This is a pretty decent idea of the role I'd like to put him in in teams/etc. Sakuma is pretty far from Fury state normally, but he has a fierce streak that I'd like to play around with a bit.

Near won't express much interest in chess because he'll claim it's too easy. There's a way to handle every situation and it just involves a lot of memorization of tactics and movements. In reality it's still a game and he'd very much enjoy beating people at it, but joining a club involves being social and he lacks the empathy levels he believes are required for that.

Hey, I'm Walker, bringing you all Moon, MC from Pokemon Moon. She's a twelve year old girl who enjoys learning new things, meeting new people, and hunting down and capturing Cthulhus for the International Police.

(I still can't believe the post-game plot is a thing that really happened.)

Anyway, she's a preteen girl that doesn't always know what to do about her emotions (and she has a lot of them) and is also honestly fascinated by weird, creepy stuff.

The only really concrete thing I have for her Pre-Awakening is that her parents are divorced and it was bad enough to be mildly traumatizing for her but other than that I am game for any kind of connection to others!

gosh this is overwhelming HELLO EVERYBODY I am Bookie and I'm looking at throwing Pharos from Persona 3 at things. Because, you know, giving the literal Death Shadow a persona won't go badly at all I'm sure.

Pharos will be a 10 year old primary school student, who is that kid who is mostly quiet and polite and friendly but says some really weird shit every so often. I would love for some family or teachers or someone, and also if anyone else is a primary school child there should be friendship.

His Persona is going to be RONOVE aka the one that watches creepily and waits for people to die. It's fine. Haven't totally decided if he's going to go combatant or navigator yet, both could be fun. But yes let's plan things??

Hello, female route buddy. I would love to get some CR with the other P3 peeps but considering that Pharos is tiny and even post Awakening only like one person in the entire canon would recognize I'm not totally sure how to do that. Unless Shinji wants a weird little brother or something idk

I imagine Mitsuru's mostly around the upper grades, but does she do any extracurricular stuff with the primaries? I want to throw Pharos at all his canonmates even if they don't know who he is for the ultimate awkwardness eventually.

Is she in the primary or lower cycle? Pharos is younger than her either way but if she's in primary they might know each other.

Primary cycle - I'm thinking that her birthday is just before the cutoff date for lower cycle so she's just slightly older than the rest of her class.

Yo guys! I'm Byte and I'll be test driving this crazy bot, Whirl from Transformers IDW: More Than Meets The Eye.

So the basic gist of him in canon. Whirl is an asshole and incredibly messed up in his head due to past traumatic experiences. He can be too much on the crazy side most of the time, but just so that nobody would have to deal with an unpredictable psychopath, I'm going to take him at the point where his mental state is better at least. He's still a crazy jerk though just... not as terrible as before.

I haven't completely decided on Whirl's pre-awakening just yet. But one thing I'm certain is that Whirl won't be that much of a crazy sociopath as he is in canon, since he obviously doesn't have his past trauma pre-awakening.

Anyways, my options are either to make him a bit like his past self before he becomes ax-crazy. A generally well-liked dude who's fun to hang out with. He's a final year student with above average scores and perfect attendance. Also, he has a parent who runs a small watchmaking store, which is something he's passionate of and going to take over once he's finished with high school. Or he's going to be just as much as the jerk he was in canon(without the added insanity). He's still going to school with perfect attendance(just don't say that to him or else he's going to sock someone in the face.) and running the watchmaking store.

hello i'm Timpeni i have Cagliostro from Granblue Fantasy and when she says she's 12 please don't believe her she's actually 21

IN ANY CASE. Pre-Awakening, Cagliostro is a pretty happy-go-lucky Honors student and Chemistry prodigy, finishing her last year in Green Valley and is expected to go very far in life. At least, on the surface. In reality, Cagliostro suffers from a weak body and, without the maturity of being a few centuries old like in her original canon, severe self-image issues. She would realistically have gender dysphoria if her AU history would reflect her canon history well, but I'm not confident of playing that well and will probably stick to more appearance-based issues.

Post-Awakening, she's gonna go batshit insane with power, Cagliostro-style. Have fun.

I'm all up for CR in school, or people having heard of her because of her absolutely stellar school record and 30257894750709 science competition trophies etc etc and the such! Her Persona will be Ouroboros, because of course, and I want her to do this to someone eventually.
