Utterly oblivious to Kit's strange vision, Reid was content to hang off his shoulder like an unruly scarf. He'd never be able to understand beauty the way Kit did. An infinite cycle, no matter how profound or intricately balanced, sounded tedious to his thrill-seeking mind. All Reid was looking for in life was a good time. If he got a few smiles out of people along the way, that was a bonus.
