Oh dear, this wasn't the first time Ixidorr had come across a child close to hyperventilating but it was certainly the first time he seemed to be the cause of it. So it takes him a few seconds longer then he would like before he's kneeling down to be at eye level and voice kept at an even and soothing tone. His group luckily are distracted by the stingrays and another teacher is close enough to watch for any small scuffles for him.

"Hey there, you didn't get hurt falling did you? I'm sorry for not noticing you quick enough to avoid bumping into you like that."

Don't mention the kid is panicking that usually makes them panic more. Hopefully he can distract him enough to answer and breath normally.
