That's a lot of stuttering, but Katherine has a lot of patience, so she's more than fine waiting them out while they work out what they want to say. If they're this bad with only one person, it's easy to see why crowds would force them to the borders.

"The summertime tends to make quiet places a lot louder," she concedes, still looking over the case she's by. "Still, I reckon that there's somewhere quiet here. It's simply a matter of finding' it." Straightening up, she looks back over to the child. "I think I could use some of that peace and quiet myself. I'm Katherine Yazzie, but you're free to call me Miss Kitty if you please.
