Round 2: Pre-Awakening AUs, Personas and Tarots, Lets Plan!

We've made this post for a very quick round of pre-drive planning. Post the characters that you are interesting in trying out and ask for advice or suggest, or even try to look/entice for castmates! Suggest pre-made AUs where someone from cross canon has been living with you for a while, so when you begin the test proper tomorrow you'll have an idea of what you want to do!

The city of Eddan is like a typical metropolis, your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job.

You are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods test-drive related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner! If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

You can also request to roll for a Persona. You can find information about Persona and the Awakening here. Ask for as many test drive characters you have if you'd like!

If you want to assign your character a tarot card for test drive purposes, you're free to pick whatever you think fits best. Your character's actual Arcana will be assigned after being accepted.

To request a persona, fill out the form below and reply to this post. Remember try to limit it to only one of your test personas. We will try to roll them for you as soon as we can!

If you're curious to see a full list of spells, you can find it here! Keep in mind that you won't be using all of the listed skills right away, if at all. When you request your persona, you do not list the spells, just what spell groups you want and we'll do the rest.

Hey folks! It's Eon (again) I played Teruomi on the previous test drive, but I'm trying out a different character from God Eater this time. His name is Julius Visconti and he's the stoic leader type, which means a horrible fate will befall him after you clear the tutorial in good old GE fashion.

I'm thinking of making him a member of the student council AU-wise. He'll be a heir to a rich family and get driven to school, that sort of thing; but he's also hardworking and humble despite his background. He also has a pretty face so that probably entitles him to some unwanted attention in having a fanclub (oops). Like his OU self he'll push himself to the exact limit of his physical health so feel free to have your dudes know him as that one StuCo guy who never seems to sleep. He probably needs a sport too to keep up his figure so he's also up for some games once in a while.

That being said Julius PLS CHILL. Also tbh his fanclub can probably meld with the Jun's fanclub (since they'd both be in gardening club) and it would just be one slightly scary fanmass that sometimes swarms the greenhouses.... heh. What is a StuCo guy, this is a new term to me--

Also you know me, if you suddenly think of new additions you want to make to CR hit me. ☆ For the moment I figure Julius & Lenka are mostly gardening buddies and sometimes Lenka has to wonder why all his senpai are either conked out all the time or living in trees. I hope one day he waters Julius by accident.

Speaking seriously, the two probably at least know... of each other purely due to familial social circles.

Yo, it's Matt, showing up with Taro from... well, nothing, technically. Until I write his book. He's an OC, and a tanuki. He's also a nerd.

I'm of two minds on how to go with this. One is to go with his usual 'cover' of being a social guy, the kind who would sit under a tree and play Wonderwall for anyone who'd care to hear it and never ever fight someone.

... The other is to go the complete opposite direction for it and make him the King of a Command Tower team, because he's good at both showboating and is a fairly okay strategist.

Liz has only shown attraction to protagonists in canon, so it's hard to say she actually has a type beyond "hard-working" and possibly "self-sacrificing", but yes, I will have her fawn over him yet!

As for the famil, uhh... I did not plan out the family at all beyond being "a rich family that gets driven to school and is a high-pressure environment", but let's see... Please wait while I make stuff up...

The Leroy family is basically running a megacorporation that started off in real-estate, moved on to factory manufacturing, and then eventually producing their own cars and vehicles. What really made them a powerhouse in Eddan however, was their contributions to public transportation, and these days many of the electric cars, busses and subways have the crown symbol, marking them as Leroy brand.

Ironically, Isabella is claustrophobic and as a result can't actually use public transport on the basis of it being too crowded.

That being said, what with being a "generic megacorporation", they probably dabble in a bit of everything. If it can make the company stronger, it will be done! The family itself is technically french, though.

It's already a business, they make a bang for their buck selling romantic flower arrangements to the fanclub who will then turn around and... give it back to the gardening club. What kind of terrifying and hilarious circular scheme is this. Lenka is just here to do the heavy lifting, please don't make him deal with the customers (except it would be hilarious so).

Hey, this is Runner (RunnerRPAwaker on Plurk), back with the second chance by bringing back Professor Augustine Sycamore from Pokemon XY/XYZ anime. Just a little recap, he is a Pokemon Professor from the Kalos region who is currently researching on Mega Evolution, but unlike his game canon, he has a Garchomp who can Mega Evolve.

Unlike Round 1, I do have some plans for his Pre-Awakening background now. Like before, he will be a teacher for Green Valley and he's a half-French living in Eddan his whole life. While he is still the nice guy just like his canon, he can be a worrywart and protective to his students and relatives due to the serial murders around the city.

Post-Awakening, he will be a Combatant and he'll try to join the other Awakening in solving the mysteries around them (and open a school club for the Awakened students).

In any case, I'm open to family and friends CR! And I'm open for any plots you have in mind with this Pokemon Professor!

EDIT: Also, my other character (which I doubt I can that) will be game!Sycamore, so let me know if you want me to bring him as well.

I was thinking of making Julius' family produce medical supplies/biological equipment so they could have easily crossed paths at business meetings. He'll have to start attending them now due to being the prospective heir and all (unsure) so they could have met at that point? :O

OK most of the PC members probably aren't this bad but I'm sure there's an NPC member or two that could lead them down this grayish path. :') HAHA it's just funny to me to think of the flower sales in general, they lead to fun shenanigans. Hello, I'm Twi (twilitfall), attempting a second time to poke at this game. This time with a player character from Final Fantasy XIV who looks a little demonic herself. Her name is Koko of the Himaa tribe of Xaela - a clan of the half-demon playable race, Au Ra. She's a young mother out of wedlock and widowed, turned hero back home. Needless to say, it's something that's undoubtedly going to eat at her once she awakens.

Pre-Awakening, I can easily see her as a young P.E. teacher, having recently graduated herself. She wouldn't be much for socializing outside of classes, or at least not speaking unless spoken to, but fiercely protective of her students. Especially now that the murders have resumed.

Once Koko Awakens, she will dive straight into the mystery left at their feet; and as a Combatant, willing to place herself on the front lines.

(Obviously none of this is 100% set in stone, but I'd love to discuss potential shenanigans with everyone.)

Penbun here with 2B from the awesome action RP Nier: Automata. She is an android from the year 11,900ish that was built to fight against an endless army of machine life form that have taken over Earth.

For her AU I was think of two different things, the first is having a mild bit of 8th grade syndrome that would mean she do strange things, like purposing she has super powers or that she is being stalked by a secret organization. Think Okabe from Stiens'gate or Rikka from Chuu2.

The other is making her a very cold and someone who practices swordplay regularly.

Tell me what you think! I'm aways open to suggestion.
