I think there's some interesting ground between the two because of that; they're both talented at academics, but that delinquency is going to cause a gulf. Though since Mitsuru is that little bit warmer with her fake memories. (Being estranged from her family has given her a very, VERY slight bit of empathy. Even if she's still busy trying to forge her own identity and social standing.) So she might approach it with a slight "you'd be climbing the ranks faster if you did THIS instead of this" type of attitude.
