{OOC: So here I am with an obscure character and only the vaguest ideas for the AU. Suggestions are appreciated. }
Cat-astrophe:
A- at the shelter
[Arslan is happy to volunteer his time to help the local animal shelters deal with the sudden population problem. Honestly he has a tough time saying no to anyone who needs his help. And the kitties are really adorable. It's sad how so many of them don't have homes. Hmm, what about you? You look like you need a cat.]
Good afternoon! Welcome to Lady Catterley's cat rescue. What sort of cat were you looking for?
[No he did not ask whether you wanted one. Just which type you wanted. He looks like a wide eyed innocent, but this kid might be a pretty sly salesman.]
B- You are Arslan's room mate/relative/whatever other excuse there could be for living with him.
[It was pretty much inevitable that after spending an afternoon trying to convince other people to adopt a cat that Arslan himself would be tempted. And he really should have called home first. But here he is.]
I'm home...
[The cheerful greeting carries just a hint of guilt. Guilt because in his arms is a cat. And by his feet is another cat. That's right. Two cats. If it's any consolation, he does look apologetic.]
